As a 1.5-generation immigrant (people who immigrated as young children), I understand the unique experience of growing up between cultures, striving to uphold traditions and beliefs while also finding your own voice and identity. These experiences can shape how we view ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. You may find yourself navigating the intersection of cultural influences and your evolving sense of self, learning how to hold space for both.
I see therapy as a space for honest conversation, the kind we rarely get to have in everyday life. We might laugh, grieve, pause, or challenge old stories you have carried for too long. My approach is gentle but real and rooted in genuine curiosity about your story. I believe healing happens in the presence of understanding, not quick fixes or judgment. For many, faith plays an important role in making sense of pain, growth, and purpose, and I hold space for that in our work together. Together, we will slow things down enough to notice what is happening beneath the surface, make sense of old patterns, and uncover what truly matters to you. My aim is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as you make sense of your experiences and begin to trust your own wisdom again.
